 IMPA,  Institute of Management Public Administration and Rural Development came into existence as an autonomous Society under the State Government in 1986. It was created for in-service training to the State Govt. employees to undertake research and consultancy in the areas of crucial importance to the administration of the J&K.


"ABOUT LIBRARY"


The Library of Institute of Management Public Administration and Rural Development(IMPA) has 2 centres, and its main campus is in Srinagar and Regional Centre is in Jammu which contains the following source material :

  1. Journals and Newsletters
  2. Popular Magazines
  3. CD-ROMs
  4. Books, Reports and other Printed matter
  5. National Newspapers
  6. Regional Newspapers

The total collection in Jammu Regional Library of Institute of Management Public Administration and Rural Development(IMPA) is approx.3000, and the main campus has approximately nearby 13,100. The Library of Institute of Management Public Administration and Rural Development(IMPA) has a unique collection of books, Journals, and Newspapers which provide effective and efficient information to the users (faculty and trainee). The collection includes broad subjects like Behavioural Sciences, Public Administration, Rural and Urban Development planning, Management, Training and Research Methodology, etc.

 The Library's membership is open to the faculty, administrative staff of the institute, and trainee participants attending various training programs. 

 Library Automation has initiated at both sides, Main Campus and Regional Centre. 

In both ends, the Library of IMPA provides support to training programs, research, and other academic activities of the institute.

 इम्पा, इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ मैनेजमेंट पब्लिक एडमिनिस्ट्रेशन एंड रूरल डेवलपमेंट 1986 में राज्य सरकार के तहत एक स्वायत्त सोसायटी के रूप में अस्तित्व में आया। यह राज्य में इन-सर्विस ट्रेनिंग के लिए बनाया गया था।

"लिब्ररी के बारे में"

इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ मैनेजमेंट पब्लिक एडमिनिस्ट्रेशन एंड रूरल डेवलपमेंट (IMPA) के पुस्तकालय में 2 केंद्र हैं, और इसका मुख्य परिसर श्रीनगर में है और क्षेत्रीय केंद्र जम्मू में है जिसमें निम्नलिखित स्रोत सामग्री है:

पत्रिकाओं और समाचार पत्र, लोकप्रिय पत्रिकाएँ,सीडी-रोम, पुस्तकें, रिपोर्ट और अन्य मुद्रित मामले, राष्ट्रीय समाचार पत्र, क्षेत्रीय समाचार पत्र।

इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ मैनेजमेंट पब्लिक एडमिनिस्ट्रेशन एंड रूरल डेवलपमेंट (IMPA) के जम्मू क्षेत्रीय पुस्तकालय में कुल संग्रह लगभग ३००० है, और मुख्य परिसर में लगभग १३,१०० हैं। इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ मैनेजमेंट पब्लिक एडमिनिस्ट्रेशन एंड रूरल डेवलपमेंट (IMPA) के पुस्तकालय में पुस्तकों, पत्रिकाओं, और समाचार पत्रों का एक अनूठा संग्रह है जो उपयोगकर्ताओं (संकाय और प्रशिक्षु) को प्रभावी और कुशल जानकारी प्रदान करता है। संग्रह में व्यापक विषय जैसे व्यवहार विज्ञान, लोक प्रशासन, ग्रामीण और शहरी विकास योजना, प्रबंधन, प्रशिक्षण और अनुसंधान पद्धति, आदि शामिल हैं।

 लाइब्रेरी की सदस्यता संकाय, संस्थान के प्रशासनिक कर्मचारियों और विभिन्न प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रमों में भाग लेने वाले प्रशिक्षु प्रतिभागियों के लिए खुली है।

 लाइब्रेरी ऑटोमेशन ने दोनों पक्षों, मुख्य कैंपस और क्षेत्रीय केंद्र में पहल की है।

दोनों सिरों में, IMPA की लाइब्रेरी प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रमों, अनुसंधान और संस्थान की अन्य शैक्षणिक गतिविधियों के लिए सहायता प्रदान करती है।
